I really enjoyed the story development. The plot and character development set the foundation for an exciting series. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series. To see if Merry and Daryl ever reunite and how their daughter develops.
Boy dates girl in school. Boy moves away and ends up marrying another girl for money. Years later boy encounters first girl again and finds out he is the father of her daughter. Boy is now sterile but wife wants a child. This is awesome Asian romance drama! The plot is like a soap opera as it entices the readers to turn pages. Romance fans will enjoy reading The Encounter.
I really liked this book and cannot wait for the next book in the series. The book starts out with a girl walking in the street when she runs into an old flame. I don't want to give too much away, but you definitely relate to a few different characters and genuinely feel for each of them. There are some characters that I was rooting against (well one). If you want a good love story with a great back story this book is for you.
Fantastic story! Starts off strong and continues to the last page. You are immediately drawn into the lives of the main characters, Merry and Darryl. The story though short is full of romance and early tragedy. This is the first book in what I hope to be a long series and I cannot wait to see how things turn out. I do not want to give anything away but this has the making of a wonderful romance. The writer has brilliant imagery and an intelligent way with words. This is a highly recommended read!
